What is a POS?
A POS (point of sale) is the software a shop uses to take payment at the counter: it adds up the products, takes payment, prints the receipt and runs the till. The Neowes one is part of the ERP, so every sale reduces the stock and is recorded with the rest.
Do I need another program for stock or invoices?
No. The POS, stock, purchasing and invoices are in Neowes ERP and use the same products and customers. From the till you can issue a receipt or a full invoice with the customer's tax ID.
Does it work with a barcode scanner?
Yes. You scan the product with a scanner connected to the computer and it is added to the receipt. You can also search by name, SKU or EAN.
Does it connect to the card terminal?
Not directly. You charge the card on your terminal and note the transaction in the POS, so the till balances when you close.
Which receipt printer do I need?
A thermal receipt printer connected by USB, using the Chrome or Edge browser. If you do not have one, the receipt can also be printed from the browser on a normal printer.
Does it work without an internet connection?
No. The POS runs in the browser and needs a connection to reduce the stock and save each sale.
Can I have several shops?
Yes. Each shop has its own stock, its tills and its receipt numbering, and from Neowes you see the sales of all of them.
Does it work for a bazaar or a store with thousands of products?
Yes: you sell by barcode and Neowes suggests what to restock based on sales and stock. The interface is in Spanish and Chinese.
Is it ready for VeriFactu?
Neowes invoicing is prepared for VeriFactu. What a program must comply with, the POS included, is in our guide to VeriFactu software.
